Information and Fee Schedule

Our desire here at Friend’s Stable is to provide a safe, clean, quiet and secure place for horses and people.

Because of our agricultural nature, we are not an equestrian center, so we cannot have rental horses, or host shows, etc.

All board rates include feeding twice daily, with pens cleaned once daily, and water tubs filled. Board is due on the first of every month and is considered late on the tenth. Statements will be sent to boarders monthly. If payment is not received by the tenth, a penalty of $25 per corral or horse will be assessed to the owner. There will be no refunds for those who withdraw their horse before the end of the month. If you have any questions about our fee policy, please do not hesitate to discuss your issues with the management.

MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THIS FEE SCHEDULE AT ANY TIME, OR TO INCRESASE OR DECREASE FEES FOR ANY PARTICULAR ANIMAL, SUCH AS THOSE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS, INCLUDING VERY LARGE, OR VERY SMALL, HORSES.

Here at Friend’s, we believe horses should have adequate room to move, so all of our corrals are 24 x24 or larger. All pens have at least on 8’ x 12’ shade roof. Our rates our based on the square footage of the pen, and whatever amenities the corral or stall includes.

Each horse owner will be required to pay a deposit on their coral or stall, which will be refunded when the horse leaves our care, subject to the corral or stall being left in the same condition as when it was rented.

No grain hay is allowed to be stored on the premises. Grain hay includes oat, barley and what is commonly called 4-way. The reason for this rule is that grain hay attracts rats. Owners are welcome to have storage of grain and supplements on the premises, but all such containers must be galvanized, and tightly closed with bungee cords.

In order to serve you better we have divided or fees into three distinct categories: Corral Rent, Feed, and Extras.

* While we do not provide shavings ourselves, we can order shavings for you weekly and add them to your stall or pen as you deem necessary. A credit card # must be placed with a feed store of our choosing.

Feed

We provide all horses feeding, twice daily, between 5-8 AM and 4-7 PM. Your choice of the options below will be added to the corral rent to determine your total board bill. An extra option of lunch is available, fed between 11:30 and 1:00. Unless recommended by a veterinarian, we do not allow clients to provide their own feed.
